Making of The urban jungle gallery

The Urban Jungle Gallery has been passionately crafted by Art Unchained for NFT Tallinn, drawing inspiration from the event’s location. The gallery also serves as a central live-streaming spot for an immersive experience, where people can virtually participate in the event. It features 188 placeholders, 3 portals, and 69 limited editions available for the community.

1. Sketching

Once we have a clear idea, we start sketching it on paper so the client can get a feeling for the gallery.

2. Main Concept

Upon agreement based on the sketch and the requirements discussed, we will begin to create the whole structure, excluding details.

3. Basic Model

During this phase, we add all the details and define colors and textures for the model.

4. Final Model

Before we render the model, we’ll get feedback and approval from the customer and finalize the last details.

5. Rendering

In this step, we define all light and shadow settings to let the machine render it, which takes several hours.

6. Ready for Minting

At this point, the gallery model is finished. Now we will record a video and prepare everything to publish the gallery on oncyber.

From the first moment we spoke, I felt that Art Unchained was 100% right for the job and fully engaged in creating a virtual gallery for NFT Tallinn. We gave them an overview of the event, our IRL venue pictures, and what we thought could be cool as a virtual concept. After the initial meeting to gather ideas and check how to link somehow the virtual gallery with the venue of the event, Art Unchained team immediately came up with some ideas and suggestions. They were providing updates regularly on the status of the development, sharing screen shots and videos and really ensuring that we had everything agreed. The gallery is beyond what was expected and planned and it will provide an amazing online venue to exhibit the artists that will be in Tallinn. I would recommend anybody that needs a gallery to give this team a bit of creative freedom. They deliver!
