The Chimpers Master Dojo was created to serve as the central hub of the Chimpers universe—a place where community, storytelling, and gameplay converge. Commissioned alongside the 3D Home Dojo, this virtual space anchors Chimpers’ broader worldbuilding efforts.
The mission: build a web3 community space that feels alive—capable of hosting multiplayer events, enabling deep lore exploration, and reflecting the brand’s unique pixel-meets-samurai identity. Art Unchained designed the Master Dojo with a clear hierarchy: a grand stairway and central temple for impact, open courtyards for interaction, and storytelling objects like arcade machines and art galleries throughout.
Whether used for gatherings, quests, or future activations, the Master Dojo offers an immersive space for Chimpers holders to connect and participate in the next evolution of the community.

The first time we gave them our idea, the architects had already sketched up an incredible concept of the Dojo which blew us away. They are all very talented individuals working on the project who took a genuine interest in making our Dojo gallery the best it could be, which was evident through the outcome. Creating an extraordinary virtual space isn’t just about assembling 3D assets. At Art Unchained, we weave compelling narratives into every pixel, building immersive worlds that resonate with your audience and embody your unique story.
When the Chimpers team approached us, they had a bold goal but limited references—the original Master Dojo existed only as a few screenshots on their earlier website, with no 3D assets or architectural plans. Our task was to take that visual fragment and turn it into a fully explorable virtual world: a space that would serve as the central hub for the Chimpers Web3 community. Working from those initial 2D visuals, we reverse-engineered the core spatial identity—a grand central temple, mountain-flanked courtyards, and symmetrical side wings that could support large-scale multiplayer interaction. This process wasn’t just about matching style—it was about expanding on it, imagining how the Chimpers lore would translate into interactive space. Every decision we made was grounded in their pixel-art identity and narrative tone, resulting in a world that feels both canon and community-driven.
With the vision aligned, we began shaping the Chimpers Master Dojo as a fully explorable 3D environment rooted in the project’s original visual identity. The main dojo building—based on early screenshots from the Chimpers website—was elevated as the focal point, accessed by a impactful staircase that establishes spatial hierarchy and presence. Surrounding it, we built a symmetrical layout with side halls, staircases, and a wide courtyard designed for gatherings, exploration, and storytelling. To elevate the atmosphere, we worked with a voxel-style background designed by Chimpers artist Timpers, transforming his 2D artwork into a 360-degree sky that wraps the entire space in a familiar, stylized landscape. Every element was modeled from scratch in Blender, textured with clean pixel-inspired surfaces, and optimized for real-time use in Oncyber. The resulting space feels cohesive, immersive, and unmistakably part of the Chimpers world.
With the environment fully assembled, our final focus was ensuring smooth performance and visual consistency across devices. Because the space was built for Oncyber, we tailored every asset to align with the platform’s real-time rendering requirements. This included refining geometry for fast loading, adjusting texture resolutions for clarity, and optimizing materials to retain the project’s signature style. We worked within the constraints of the platform to preserve as much visual depth and detail as possible—ensuring that the Master Dojo looked and felt true to the Chimpers identity across all access points. Once exported, we conducted live walkthroughs with the Chimpers team to fine-tune lighting, materials, and scale. The result is a fully functional, browser-ready Web3 environment that stays faithful to its creative vision while remaining accessible to the wider Chimpers community.
